CYCLONE AMPHAN - RELIEF
If the present COVID-19 lockdown restrictions were not enough of a challenge for the South Asian peoples, last week the area of West Bengal, Odisha and Western Bangladesh were pummeled by super cyclone Amphan. Some suggested that this was the worst storm to hit this region over the last hundred years. Houses are damaged, crops have been destroyed, trees beyond number have been uprooted, power lines are down, many areas are facing water supply challenges, and many are without electricity which will take much time to restore.

AIM is collecting donations for relief and reconstruction as coordinated by our indigenous mission partners who work in these regions. Urgent help is needed for immediate relief supplies and resources to help people to repair and rebuild homes.
